Can It!- A Story of Trash in Van Cortlandt Park

It should come as no surprise that human effects on city parks aren’t always positive. Trash is an ever present problem harming wildlife and ecosystems, and making parks a little less enjoyable to visit. Take a look at the work being done by the Van Cortlandt Park Alliance to remove trash from Tibbetts Brook and from the broader Park. Find out what we find the most, what can be most harmful and what can be done about it.
